Fisher Kel Tath

Name: Fisher Kel Tath

Pseudonyms: Fisher

Age: unknown

Race: Human,

Appearance: grey haired, gaunt

Further Info: an enigmatic bard and poet and an immortal.

The author of many works, frequently quoted both by characters and in the chapter-opening passages. Given the wide range in eras his works cover, he is either a very old character or has some exceptionally good sources.

Fisher appears to be a well-known author among the general population, he is freely quoted by members of the 2nd Army command in GotM. Though they give the second name as "Keltath," a single word.

"Kruppe sang, '"Oh frail city, where strangers arrive" ...and the rest?' [Fisher] answered in a deep voice, '"...pushing into cracks, there to abide."' -(TtH, US TPB, p.24)

"...that damned bard was was bleating on with one of the more obscure verses of Anomandaris, but nobody was listening." -Picker's thoughts - (TtH, US TPB, p.35)

"Was is not Fisher Kel'Tath himself who once said poetry and sorcery were the twin edges to the knife in every man's heart? - (DG, UK mmpb, p.437)

Blend :  "There's more songs supposedly composed by Fisher than anyone else I'd ever heard of."

The man shrugged.

"Some of them are a hundred years old."

"I was a prodigy."

 "Were you now?"

Duiker spoke,  "The poet is immortal."  (TtH)
