Summary

In Mammot’s study, Kruppe reads from Alladart’s Realm Compendium about the Crippling and Chaining of an unknown god and the inhabitants of Moon’s Spawn, five black dragons and one red, Silanah. Baruk communicates with Mammot and summons Kruppe. Crone tells Baruk of Hairlock pursuing some power (Adjunct Lorn and Tool) towards the Gadrobi Hills. He tells the Great Raven of the imprisoned Jaghut Tyrant. Baruk instructs Kruppe and his friends to take Crokus and explore and observe the Gadrobi Hills. Rallick is to kill Crokus if the Coin Bearer’s influence turns.

Four Hounds escort Quick Ben to Shadowthrone in Shadowkeep. The mage was once a Shadow “acolyte”. He strikes a deal to deliver Hairlock to him in exchange for The Rope not killing him for leaving Shadow priesthood. In Darujhistan, Sorry arrives and tells them of an assassin (Rallick) at the Phoenix Inn.

Rallick observes an assassin (Kalam) enter the Inn and tells Ocelot. He is to lead Kalam to Tarlow’s warehouse. Crokus decides to return the D’Arle loot.
