Further Info: Son of Stonny Menackis. His father is an unknown Seerdomin who rapes Stonny during the Capustan invasion by the Pannion Domin. Stonny names him after her friend Harllo and puts him into an adoptive family. He is raised in Darujhistan by Bedek and Myrla who act as his uncle and aunt, raising him alongside their own children: Snell, Hinty and Mew. Later, he works as a "mole" in the Eldra mines, where he meets Bainisk.

Harllo's Age:

Harllo is conceived in Memories of Ice during the Siege of Capustan and directly stated to be approximately five years old during the events of Toll the Hounds. This is widely seen as a glaring conflict of time within the Malazan series, as it is often not believed to be plausible for other events between Memories of Ice and Toll the Hounds to have taken five years.
