Tras was a Malazan officer in Seven Cities. At the onset of the Sha'ik Rebellion, he commanded the Malazan garrison at Orbal. He was married to Minala and beat her frequently, blackmailing the garrison's healer to heal Minala. 

Tras was killed in unknown circumstances shortly after the uprisings began in Orbal at the beginning of the Sha'ik Rebellion.
