What happened to Rallick Nom & Vorcan?
At the end of GotM, Rallick Nom and Vorcan seek refuge from the pursuing Tiste Andii in the newly formed Azath, later dubbed the "Finnest House." Later in the series it becomes clear that only a very few select people are permitted to enter an Azath House, and those people are not chosen at random. The most notable example of such a person is the man who would become an emperor, then-bar owner Kellanved.
The fact that Rallick was allowed inside means he must be important, but how? That's not yet clear. Perhaps it is related to his exposure to the Otataral dust, or his skills as an assassin (note that he was in the company of Vorcan, also a master assassin). Rallick also sat on the Azath for a time, to inhibit its growth, which may have something to do with his admittance.
MoI spoiler: We see Rallick Nom & Vorcan lying on the threshold of the Finnest House during MoI. They appear to be under some kind of sorcerous sleep, and to have fallen into that state as soon as they entered the building. Whatever the Azath has planned for them, it has not yet come to pass.
