Further info: A demonic race residing in Aral Gamelon. The Kenryll'ah are the common class ruled by the race's aristocrats, the Kenyll'rah. The race is known to war with the seafaring Korvalahrai.

During the Tiste Edur invasion of the Letheri Empire, the Edur summoned and enslaved numerous Kenryll'ah as warriors. The Edur later formally allied with the Kenyll'rah, who sent two princes to fight for the Edur. In return, Rhulad Sengar diverted waters from Aral Gamelon into the Nascent, destroying Korvalahrai naval forces.  

Tayschrenn used a Kenryll'ah to kill Nightchill at the Pale Enfilade.  

"She watched as a Kenryll'ah demon arose beneath Nightchill. Laughing shrilly, the towering, gaunt creature tore Nightchill limb from limb. It had begun feeding by the time Bellurdan arrived. The Thelomen bellowed as the demon raked its knife-like talons against his chest. Ignoring the wounds around his head and the blood that sprayed from them, he closed his hands around the demon's head and crushed it."
